Supporting families through the EHCP process
I’m Hannah, and I currently work as a Director of Inclusion within a secondary school.
Throughout my career, I have worked closely with children and young people with a wide range of SEND needs, as well as their families and the professionals supporting them.
A significant part of my work has involved supporting families through the EHCP process and seeing first-hand the difference that the right support and provision can make for a child.
This experience led me to set up HRB SEND, providing independent support to families who are navigating the EHCP process and may be unsure about what to do next.
A supportive and practical approach
The EHCP process can feel complicated, particularly when you are trying to understand what your child needs while also navigating conversations with school and other professionals.
I believe parents should feel informed and confident when making decisions about their child’s education.
My approach is calm, practical and individual to each family. I take the time to properly understand your situation and help you identify the most appropriate next steps.
Whether you are at the very beginning of considering an EHCP or are ready to make an application, my aim is to make the process feel more manageable and straightforward.
